Meditation – Practising meditation regularly will get you into alpha mind state, you can follow any meditation technique whichever you feel comfortable.
Hypnotizing Yourself – Hypnotizing yourself will help you achieve the alpha state, use the simple self – hypnosis relaxation technique it won't take much time to do this but it is effective.
Yoga – Yoga is an another way to keep your body and mind relaxed it will boost your alpha brain waves.
Breathing Exercises – If you can't do any mediation or yoga regularly, you can just do this simple breathing exercise. When doing this your focus should be only in your breathing, it is simple just concentrate while you inhale and exhale, this will calm your mind and make you free from random thoughts.
